MERIT solid brass extruded cabinet hinges feature a sturdy 5/16" knuckle diameter which adds style and durability to our wide selection of sizes. Cabinet hinges are supplied with button or ball tips as standard (please specify). Decorative Steeple, Urn, Cone and Cathedral cabinet tips are available at an additional charge.

• Hinge pins are machined from 303 stainless steel
• MERIT Hinges are supplied standard with "floating" stainless steel pins

The floating pin is held stationary within the knuckle of the hinge by a threaded male tip on each end of the hinge. Removal of the pin is accomplished by unthreading each tip and removing the pin from the bottom of the hinge knuckle.

• MERIT also offers "Loose Pins" with all extruded cabinet hinges as an option to floating pins. When a loose pin is specified, the hinge will be manufactured with one tip threaded into the hinge knuckle and the other tip is connected to the stainless steel hinge pin. The loose pin configuration allows for removal of the hinge pin by pulling the top cabinet tip.
